laptop was fine. just the strap got caught and actually tore off the laptop bag.

Had some me time after classes and homework so I did some photoshop for me.
I just sold the midpipe and the carbon fiber muffler to help offset the cost of the new setup.

I'm just going to Y off the Kerker's system, to two pipes and mufflers. I got the Y and the piping ready to mock up. The mufflers, I'm not sure if I should just build them, or buy them. Supertrapp has an internal disc muffler that looks a lot like the ones in the picture, but they're not cheap.

But this is about 99% of what the new pipes will look like.

about 1/2 mile form home today on the way to work the strap on my laptop bag got loose. heard a lodu pop and immediately pulled over. it got caugh in my swingarm somehow and broke my directionals, tail light and lots of knicks in my 412 progressive shocks. thats all i can tell for now. damage control when i get home. also lost my cosmetic filter on top of the breather for my final drive. shitty day.

Couldda been much, much worse Garrett....remember that story of mine when the Navy gas mask bag came undone and got wedged between the rear tire and fender on an old chopper I had? Fuckin thing slid from shoulder to shoulder until it got so far out of shape it went down....high siding me flat on my back 20 or 30 feet from the bike!!

No such thing as 'overkill' when strapping things to your bike....duct tape it if you have to, looks just don't matter....you don't want to suck something down in there and lock that rear wheel up!

Sure glad that kind of thing didn't happen to you....the damage sux, fer sure, but a harsh lesson I'm thinking. :punk:

WICKED KJ!! That looks great! :clapping:

I will be following this as I also have a Kerker 4/1 header (not mounted) and I really don't want to cut my centerstand if I mount it. I was going to have a local muffler shop fab it to one of several cans I have acquired. I was looking to try to run the midpipepast the centerstand tangs so as to not cut them.

i hear ya man. whats weird is i always made sure it was tucked in and such into the pouch. didn't this time , but obviously i paid for it. not sure how it got onto the tire either but yes things coulda been much worse than some directionals and powdercoating.

awesome concept KJ, cant wait to see/hear it.......

almost worth wearing a backpack garrett for the computer, i know it doesnt look cool but neither does your bike laying on the road with you under it bleeding.........

dan-o you see all the straps that hold down the poka-bag????? no way its ejecting the bitch seat hahahahha

Definately wouldn't be a good thing.
I put my laptop in my backpack along with my school books, then 3 bungie cords hold it nice and tight on the pillion.

What kind of laptop is it? talk about a great ad. "screw the toughbook, ours is Vmax tested tough."

I stripped down the Corbin seat that I got from Fire-Medic and sent it off to my dad to get it customized for me. He is an amazing upholsterer I will be posting before and after pics when I get it back.

I rode it 800 miles this week and rode it like I stole it. The oil level hasn't changed? Did it fix itself...lol? I did start using less oil,(thanks to Sean, again) and with my new trailer I can measure it more accurately, bikes in a chock straped down straight, and I level the trailer after loading it. Oil level is 1/2 way up the window,Now.
Steve

Was so nice I could have blasted down the Taconic Dan-o. Did get cold after dark though.

Yeah, it's been pretty nice....the sun has quite a bit of heat in it. I basked in the sunshine with a chainsaw in my hands....got just about all the wood up for the winter of '12 - '13. Been feeling pretty good lately, new meds seem to be helping....well, I still get pretty stiff but.....ah, you guys don't want to hear about THAT part of it!! :rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200:

Good feeling getting the wood up for the next burning season, couple of my buddies do the same thing. Sorry to hear about the stiff but though.....:biglaugh:

Nothing to the vmax, as usual. I don't even look anymore. Its depressing.

I didwas sell some gs parts. Met the guy at the beer distibutor up the road. I solld the stuff to the guy, walked in and grabbed a case, and before I could purchase it my phone rings.

He starts telling me that I sold him a front brake perch but he wanted a clutch perch. I bit my tongue and nicely stated that I DID sell him a clutch perch and told him to take notice of the cable adjuster on the perch. The bike had hydraulic disc brakes so there is NO way he is looking at a brake perch because it would include a master cylinder, not a cable adjuster.

He was quiet for a second. And starts saying something about how he sees the boss for a mirror and its definitely a brake perch.

I tell him again, it has hydraulic brakes, there is no brake cable, no cable adjuster.

Again, he's quiet. He starts talking a bit, but more to himself than to me. He says " but...wait..hold on..maybe im looking wrong...backwards...ummm...OHHH....Hey Mike, I see. You're right. I was looking at it backwards. Thanks." And he hangs up :ummm::confused2:

He was showing me pics of the bike and telling me he stretched it, hard tailed it, and raked it. But, he can't figure out how to install a clutch lever. Scary.

For you oldsters beware combining sildenafil and ntg (Viagra and nitroglycerine) as it can literally stop your heart!

I was an IDIOT today!!! GEEZUS!!! So last night I replaced the rear brakes and put a new set of tires on my '95 because I had a Club ride toy run this morning...HOLY SHIT!!! it was 52* and raining like hell this morning at 9am when I thought it was a good idea to ride. Did I say I was and Idiot yet?? I rode about 15 miles and pulled off to rethink my decision. I came to the conclusion that it was a 1%er sponsored Christmas toy run and if I showed up in a cage I would be laughed out of the club. Well F@$K me if I wasnt the only one that showed up from my chapter on a bike!! HAHAHAHA a 45 mile one way trip in the freezing ass rain to find out that the toy run was called due to the weather (I had missed 5 calls trying to let me know this). So, what did I do to my VMAX today??? I froze my ass to it rode it 100 miles round trip in the rain BUT I got some mad respect for being hard core enough to do it...NONE of the H-D riders even took their trailer queens out of the garage today. VMAX TOUGH RAAA!!! Did I say I was an Idiot yet?? I felt like one when I had to have my son help me strip down to my skivvies because my muscles were seized with atrophy due to the cold. I AM HOMER SIMPSON!!!

I pulled the instument cluster to redo the volt meter and different warning lights. Finalized my choice on exhaust. In January these will be ordered. Its the look I've been wanting.
