Garrett, how did the laptop fair after so much damage to the bike?
about 1/2 mile form home today on the way to work the strap on my laptop bag got loose. heard a lodu pop and immediately pulled over. it got caugh in my swingarm somehow and broke my directionals, tail light and lots of knicks in my 412 progressive shocks. thats all i can tell for now. damage control when i get home. also lost my cosmetic filter on top of the breather for my final drive. shitty day.
Had some me time after classes and homework so I did some photoshop for me.
I just sold the midpipe and the carbon fiber muffler to help offset the cost of the new setup.
I'm just going to Y off the Kerker's system, to two pipes and mufflers. I got the Y and the piping ready to mock up. The mufflers, I'm not sure if I should just build them, or buy them. Supertrapp has an internal disc muffler that looks a lot like the ones in the picture, but they're not cheap.
But this is about 99% of what the new pipes will look like.

Couldda been much, much worse Garrett....remember that story of mine when the Navy gas mask bag came undone and got wedged between the rear tire and fender on an old chopper I had? Fuckin thing slid from shoulder to shoulder until it got so far out of shape it went down....high siding me flat on my back 20 or 30 feet from the bike!!
No such thing as 'overkill' when strapping things to your bike....duct tape it if you have to, looks just don't matter....you don't want to suck something down in there and lock that rear wheel up!
Sure glad that kind of thing didn't happen to you....the damage sux, fer sure, but a harsh lesson I'm thinking. unk:
awesome concept KJ, cant wait to see/hear it.......
almost worth wearing a backpack garrett for the computer, i know it doesnt look cool but neither does your bike laying on the road with you under it bleeding.........

I rode it 800 miles this week and rode it like I stole it. The oil level hasn't changed? Did it fix itself...lol? I did start using less oil,(thanks to Sean, again) and with my new trailer I can measure it more accurately, bikes in a chock straped down straight, and I level the trailer after loading it. Oil level is 1/2 way up the window,Now.

Was so nice I could have blasted down the Taconic Dan-o. Did get cold after dark though.
Good feeling getting the wood up for the next burning season, couple of my buddies do the same thing. Sorry to hear about the stiff but though.....:biglaugh:Yeah, it's been pretty nice....the sun has quite a bit of heat in it. I basked in the sunshine with a chainsaw in my hands....got just about all the wood up for the winter of '12 - '13. Been feeling pretty good lately, new meds seem to be helping....well, I still get pretty stiff but.....ah, you guys don't want to hear about THAT part of it!! :rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200:
