I went to install COP's and wider drag bars but a buddy came by so away went the tools and on with the helmet. We only had a two hour window and needed gas. After we fueling up we headed out on a fast trip, some freeway but mostly 2 lane back roads, some curvy and some boring straight roads. We covered about 110 miles, stopped for gas and then later for a smoke, all of which took us 1 hour 25 min. When we stopped for gas I put in 3.7 gal and he put in 3.98 gals, we both have 4 gal tanks.
It was a fun trip, traffic was light, weather was nice (65-70 degrees). Maybe I can finish my mods tommorow but it's supposed to be nice too.:clapping:

Installed my Memphis Shades Classic Douche windshield tonight....Oops!! That's s'posed to be Deuce, sorry!! :biglaugh:

It's a nice looking unit, if you like shields, which I do, is very good quality and the fit went well.

Can't wait to put it in the wind tomorrow! :punk:

What did you expect Dan-o...

checked my rotor runout again, 2-3 mils if that.

I went to order a front Bridgestone BT020 from a local bike shop, they quoted me ?180 (not including fitting)... that's about $265 !!!
:ummm:

They apologised and gave me a few places to check online, ordered one for ?100 including shipping (about $150) so now all I have to do is get it fitted

Last night I finished up installing my race tech springs w/ ricor intiminators and a 2" internal drop, also installed the new 11.5" 430 rear shocks from Sean, also got most of my paint pieces back on, just waiting for the side covers, will pick those up this weekend

Richard

how much did the shop want to fit one that u brought to them?

Here they are G, pics of the Memphis Shades Classic Deuce!

I had to relocate the oem signals to fork mounts, I felt they stuck too far out so I removed the black shock absorber part of the stem and replaced it with a fitting I made. It brings the signal in 1 3/4" and looks much better IMO.

Next I'll do the rear ones.

Yo Dan-o that looks cool! Not sure I'm sold on the smoke, but it could grow on me.

Blinkers don't even look like they've moved - nice one!

Oh and I took mine for a ride this morning, and then it started raining. Took it home and parked it - I'm not trying that Dunlop in the wet :confused2:

Looks Good, Danny!

What's with all those yellow things on the ground - tell me that you took the pictures last fall :ummm:

I already parked it for the winter, but I couldn't resist, a beautiful clear mornin' with frost on the cars and a little frozen puddles here and there.

A break between the sleet, snow and rain. So I backed my bike out of the garage and went for a nice ride to school. The thermostat at the banks I passed read from 19 to 21 deg F.

My tourmaster jacket kept me nice and toasty. Better than a cup of coffee :clapping: 50deg out now, I'm thinking of doing the valley run this afternoon.

Woke up this morning and snow on the ground. Put my insurance in storage mode and pushed the max back to it's corner of the garage then plugged in the battery tender.

I took it apart (scoops, tank cover and air box) to rewire my cop`s.
I removed all the connectors and soldered all the wires direct.:biglaugh::biglaugh:
It starts right up now and runs a bit smoother I guess and then turned my A/F screws out to 3 1/2 turns but, it still pops in the 3-5,000 rpm range:bang head::bang head:.
then took my seat off and made it a little more comfy.
The End<
