Ahh geez, where do I start. Just added those 74-x & 74-xhp3 bulbs in red to the gauges to match my 05. These are cool! CHROME -- scoops, intake, sides, sissybar, new morley seat two tone smooth/carbon, front r1 gold button calipers with Stainless Steel brake/clutch lines, progressive front springs with Ricor indimidators, new front Stainless Steel radiator cover, custom fabricated LED axillary lights....ok enough for now...next to come is accent lighting....OK I'm broke!

WOW!!! you've been busy....post pics of accent lighting after installing.....

Accent lighting will eventually come. Still doing some research of how I want it all to be setup. I know what kind of lights, just how much to do. Still working on most of my list above, parts all over my garage...Most thanks to Sean Morely for all his expertise and assistance in my mods. THANKS SEAN!!!

Rode one to work,:clapping:"indian summer" here 37 @noon.broke the rear fender on the other:damn angry:

Tore apart the pillian seat for the cover (going to use the padding and the cover for the new tail section from Boxxenstop). removed front turn signals and mount.

motor mounts tomorrow.... shouldn't be too much since swingarm, exhaust is all dropped

how do u guys think a max would look with a renntec sissybar and rack without a rear fender?

Excellant modding! I almost passed out because I was holding my breath reading about those mods! It has to look and ride like a new bike! :punk::punk:

put wheels back on and moved into heated garage to install shift light, punch some baffles, and try to get air in the forks. we'll see how that goes

You make a post like that with no pictures? :no no no:
You know better than that. LOL

Here's some spy shots of his bike in the VMOA booth:

(sorry Ghost...got the drop on ya!) More pics in the Ontario VMOA section.

Spent a couple of hours per-fitting my new belly pan and front fender from fatmax before getting ready for paint. Fit like a charm...

Had to lose the cycle one off front frame sliders tho', even shortened as they were already there is no way to "spring" the belly pan around them, may figure out a way to put a stud in them and install them afterwards, although either way I would have to cut a hole in the new pan for the sliders, probably going to leave them off permanently.....:bang head:

Now if my new tank cover from japan Via Netherlands ever shows up, I'm golden.:eusa_dance:

CMSNL did update my order from ship date of -2-15 to 01-20, so maybe there is hope, they haven't charged my account yet either........

This past weekend I worked on setting up the area where I will be removing my engine. I collected my tools and took off the bodywork. Thanks to the writeups there should be no surprises in getting this bad boy outta the frame.
Making the shipping pallet will be another hurdle to figure out. Sean has some pictures to go by so that will help.

Not that bad a job Brian....don't forget to do the steering head bearings.....you know, as long as you're right there anyway!! :biglaugh:

Ordered the gauge bulbs 74x and 74xhp3 removed the nology wires and sent them back to Nology to replace the boots on 2 of the wires, and installed a new set of Ngk resistor plugs to see if that cures the disco lights on my Sasy. JIM

I have non resistor plugs and Nology wires on mine and have zero issues with my Sasy.

Just an FYI!

Chris

Rode it man. Rode it.

Been riding in the pouring rain for the last few days. Thank god for heated socks, chaps made right, and fresh rubber. Supposed to be like this all week.

Grabbed my list and ordered the following:

From Boxenstopp:
  • Sport tail
  • Pan to make the pillion seat
  • Double scoops
  • inserts for double scoops
eBay:
  • New plug wires w/NGK boots
  • Sport front fender
School starts tomorrow. so now between school and getting the shirt artwork simplified so I can silk screen it I dunno when I'm going to have time to work on the Max. But oh well, about 12 weeks left until its about time to ride again, so I guess I have to time to do it a little by little.
