LOL, no problem. You probably got a better deal on the ebay stuff. I have a few items that Prezmek is making for me and I think he sells directly too. Some stuff he is doing through me and other stuff is going direct from him. I've got pretty much all the same stuff that Jim has on the Toxic bike here.

I'll definately keep you iin mind as No. 1 when I do my next block of upgrades.

Which will more than likely be a set of clear covers. I was starting to lean toward a USD after looking at a few wrecked sport bikes up here, but for my style of riding it would be more cosmetic than beneficial.

Another thing on my list is some Steve Taylor wheels and a single sided swingarm. For that I'll go with the USD cause I'd want a 150 up front to complement a 280 out back. Then I'll be done :clapping:

Well I bought a set of scoops off ebay today only needed the left one but price was right so as soon as my insurance check gets in I am sending the left scoop & probably a few other pieces to sean to get chromed.

I'll send them off in the morning, damn ebay's lable printing is screwed up so I'll have to go to the post office not to mention the ******'s still charged me. oh well they said I'll get it refunded in 30 days.

I'll have it in the mail when I get done with my first set of classes at 10am. The post office is right down the hill from the U, Thanks again :)

Reconnected the clutch line, topped the reservoir off and bled the system....then pulled the front end apart to get to the steering head bearing job.

Got the bearings and races out and will clean up the neck and press in new bearings within a couple days.

Jayhawk....why didn't you tell me those bearings are up front? :ummm: Couldda saved me all that engine removal work!! :rofl_200:

I dremeled a couple grooves and split it with a chisel.

There was a ridge in the steering neck, just under the top race, which prevented me from driving that one out from the bottom. I had to dremel a small portion of that ridge off also.

Is that ridge on all models? Mine is an '06 and it looks to me like the only purpose of it is to make driving the top race out more difficult! :ummm:

whats that cut that others have made to make removal much easier in the future? u going to do that?

just got some stuff back from the powdercoaters

swingarm
swingarm pivot caps
motorcycle mods taillight bracket
shock end caps from python
headlight bracket
passenger mounting brackets

Yes, I am going to do it...it's basically milling out a channel to be able to drive the bottom race out from the top. As it sits from the factory, the shoulder extends beyond the race, making it impossible to punch it out.

IMO, grinding that little bit of material won't affect anything.

you'll have to show me what exactly u grinded out, as i'm sure i'll do it when the time comes. i know lots of guys who do it, def not worried about integrity of the neck.
