well finally had time in between working on my buddies 69 camero, putting in a 427 and a 4 speed and trying to find a water leak in the basement thats wrecking everything down there, got most of the bike back together. took a while to get the original gaskets cleaned off the covers but all done and put back on. Just have to get that dang stripped a/f screw out and set the carbs back on the bike. good thing its still winter for a few months here.

Got the last thing on the mod wanted list. Custom on-off solid & milled 1" handlebar finished up. Wider, stronger and no more vibration. Best of all, it didn't cost me 1 cent. The buddy system rocks:punk:

stuff pretty neat kyle. it got one screw out but the other was too wrecked even before i started i could see it was stripped. so will use a left handed drill bit and cross my fingers.
as for the camero, for sure its a m22, got a 69 427 block, and my buddy had original gm L88 aluminum heads and intake. gonna kinda copy a copo. Its a mild build with 11.5:1 and dyno'd a modest 560hp.
hard part is my buddy has a habit of granading 4speeds so this one since its a m22 will try and take it easy but thats like telling a vmax to not be cool and tough, not in its nature.

I've grenaded a couple of M22's too. They aren't rated for much over 500hp but if you don't get traction it won't put that much stress on the trans. Thankfully the last M22 I scattered wasn't the original to our 70 LS6 Chevelle. That is rebuilt and sitting on the shelf just in case and so we can drive the car without worrying about the 8K rpm's it sometimes sees (same thing with the original engine).

If he gets frisky I do have most everything for a 540 CI build (need piston and rods and some misc).

Sean

im sure he's always frisky, just pulled out a 454 we built in this car, went 10.6 that was a little more compression and was a street car also. but wanted a little tamer easier to drive around motor so comes in the 427. the 454 went into a pro street we are putting together also.

We need a "Shoot the Groundhog" smiley.......or club .....Tshirt.....or somthin:damn angry::bang head::bang head::damn angry:

Let's see if I got this right.....If the rodent sees his shadow we got another 6 weeks of winter, if he doesn't we only got about a month & a half! :punk:
If all goes as normal (and not affected by Al Gore's hot air!:rofl_200:) I will not be able to ride until April sometime. :damn angry:

Talk about a hijack from hell. Can....what did you do to your Vmax today conclude:ummm: If not, then I sure wish Spring time arrives a lot faster then a F16 Fighter!

Pulled the back end off, put on new wavy rotor then dropped off to have new tire put on. Finished up headlights mount. I ended up with the fork mount cause it would make mounting the signals easier. They will be along side of the headlights.

Changed all fluids, I'm loving my lift from sears. it was money well spent IMO.
