Only 22 days until I get to see mine again.. I miss my Maxine!

I feel for ya man! But if it's any consolation, when you do see her again in 22 days, you'll be able to jump on and go for a ride. We'll be up here still walking around our bikes saying.....'wish this friggin' snow would go away'!:snow:

Have a safe trip G, keep in touch.

Picked up the top half from the machine shop. Shouldn't be too long till Mr. Max is happy again. :eusa_dance:

Just picked up new parts for the gen 2...New carbon fibre front fender and air box cover, billet muffler tips and billet swing arm covers.Just a few more to come in and i can start the mod journey on this one as well.:biglaugh:

Trickle charged my battery in my '01 Max today, then fired her up and let her fun for about 30 minutes. I always leave it on the center stand and run it through the gears, just like I was riding it on the road. It's been darn cold in Cincy, and a lot of snow on the ground. So no riding for a few more weeks yet. Gotta put new tires on my bike, and get the front steering bearing check out as I'm getting excessive front end wobble. Looking forward to our trip to Deal's Gap in April.

it's 47degrees here in central ohio, so i had to go for short blast, what a bike, forgot the rush, i havn't ridden it since nov. :eusa_dance:

I took mine out sunday for a ride and a wash, before going in for some upgrades. I met the gf for a few beers and she noticed slight damage to the lower part of the radiator, nothing major, just the screen out of the groove, and some fins flattened. After a little head scratching I noticed horizontal scatches on the lower part of the front fender, and the lightbulb came on. Late last year I had one of those " I saw god today" 130 mph head shakes bad enough you could hear the tire barking. That looks to me like the forks would have been flexing about 3 inches for the finder to get into the radiator. Anyone else had this?????

i just wired in my t-boost, and it is insane what this bike does with the vboost off, just crack the throttle and it is like being shot out of a cannon.:punk:

I ordered the cruiser single tail from Exactrep the 2nd week in Jan. I got an email saying it was being removed from the mold today. Hope it's shipping soon. I also ordered a fatmax belly pan

I have stainless versions of those little aluminum cheesy inserts. I have chromed and unfinished.

Finally took care of something that was bugging me forever....those little silver strips on the side of the radiator side covers. I took them off and painted them with black Krylon.
I hear ya danny, I ripped mine out last winter and filled the opening, then painted it. Not the greatest job in the world, but it will do untill I get my SS replacements.

My stainless lines finally showed up so I got that all bolted up, had to re-route my throttle cables which is a bit of a bear with only two hands.

Turns out my steelies wont reach with the bars I just put on, so they're coming off this morning (they sucked anyway) and the stockers are going back for their third tour. Might just toss a 2" riser under em.

Gonna shop around and probably order up a headwinds light today as well.

Just finished up on a pretty big maintenance/upgrade.

Replaced fork springs with Race Tech, added emulators.

Put on 'Busa calipers and R1 rotors, added SS lines. Still working out some bugs on caliper/rotor OD interference.

Set valve clearances, replaced valve cover gaskets. Replaced all the gaskets and copper washers on the oil lines/breather assy.

Replaced all the boots on the Vboost/Carbs, also adjusted float levels.

Replaced with rebuilt slave cylinder.

Seems to run good, rode for about 5 miles and coolant temps were pretty low, weather was about 70 here in GA today.

Still have to sync the carbs and work out that front brake problem. :)
