I've been a bit slack posting this summer. These are some mods I've done recently.

1) opened up the end caps on the supertrapps (scares old ladies and small children)

2) Added the silicon coolant hoses and did the COPS mod.

3) Added the flyscreen which works very well. (I'm ambivalent about it because I like to have the chrome speedo dome as the crowning glory on the forks)

Today I finished up the modifying my instrument cluster .
where the water temp meter was is a l.e.d.panel that looks like a dragstrip x mas tree and where the light panel was is now a switchboard for my t-Boost,advance mod, driving lights, fan switch and alarm tracer light.
Tomorrow I will install and connect everything and then it`s time to modify my seat (again).

Well as my H.A.C. Sissybar turned up yesterday , i decided as i got home early from work today to put it on to see how it looks .
Not fussed on the reflector tho , am still thinking about wether to put something at the back .
Polished Aluminuim or paint it black to match the bike :confused2:

Finally heading back the other way with 'Sallymax'.......re-assembly. As the UPS guy drops off stuff I bolt it up. The last couple days have gone pretty well: got new motor mounts in the front, the lower cross member just above the oil filter in, forks from Pin Wall torn down and swapped the internals with '06 internals and installed, lower fork legs painted with semi-gloss engine paint, the mashed headlight ring removed and replaced with one I got from Naughty G, the OEM mufflers from my '99 installed and the speedometer taken apart so I can repair and paint the broken housing.

Everything lined up nicely and I'm having hopes that it's going to come out pretty well. Should know fairly soon.

Great job Danny it's lookin' like it's gonna be a sweet ride again soon - watch out for Sally knocking at your door in the early morning ;-)

Thanks G...yeah, I've been listening for Sally to come a tapping...but if he makes off with the max he'll have to leave that hot little 919....so it's not a total loss!!:biglaugh:

I would be leery of Sal during the Brownie run, you know, your busy entertaining, he slides into the garage and then he's gone like he's on a coffee run! Beware! I guess you know where he lives so when you ride up on the 919 he'll know the jig is up.
Nice and patient rebuild Danny, albeit the freak oil spill happened, but all is back on program and proceeding well. Soon you will be walking out to the garage, helmet in hand, trying to decide which Vmax do I want to ride today. Not a bad problem to have I'm thinking!:punk:

finished connecting and installing the instrument panel minus the water temp meter that was replaced by a light panel and the lights on the other side are now a mini switch panel to control my mods. tomorrow I will instal a new water temp guage on the handle bars and then adjust the padding in my seat to make it perfect for MY ass.(little by little she`s a` commin` along):punk::clapping::eusa_dance::biglaugh: Now if I can get my hands on a set of those c.o.p.s .........

It sounds like you're getting it fine tuned just for you. :thumbs up:I would be interested in see your mods to the instrument panel.

Ah well that happens to the best of us.
Here is a link on how to post pictures to this forum. Basically it goes like this: find the pic you want to post on your computer and note where it is/ picture name, open a message, then click on the "attachments" paper clip thingy once the message window opens. This will open another window to allow you to "manage attachents", click on "browse" button and this will take you to your computer, you then look for the picture that you found earlier, click on your picture and it will put the path to you picture on the line next to the "browse" button. If you want you can choose multiple picters to upload. Once you have the pictures chosen, hit the "upload" button and it will load the pictures to your message. You can choose to preview the message by clicking on the "preview post" button at the bottom of your message. It will show you what you are about to post when you choose "submit reply". Once you are happy with the message click on "submit reply" and it will post the message to the forum.
If you have any questions send me a PM and I will help you in anyway I can.

Thanks a bunch, sounds like almost how you would send a picture in an e.mail so, I will take some picks and try my hand at posting them tomorrow if I have a chance to.<<Dave>>:punk:

i need to go ride it some more to really tell but ive lost some power in the midrange. Low rpms it runs a ton better, needs choke to start now, dosnt hesitate and sputter and shit like it did with the cobras. Midrange is a little weak, but the upper rpms feel like i gained a ton, it wants to pull the front wheel up everytime on the top of first. The cobras have definitely got to go, cant wait till i can afford a full system with sean's airbox mod/ jet kit!! Before i do though im doing the front forks and new front tire so it will be a while

Just got back from a ride after installing the kerker, I like the new exhaust note, but not as loud as originally thought it would be. Not a complaint. Next weekend project... Morley's muscle kit
