Thanks Dan. I’m just glad you didn’t spend $27 on that high zoot highfalutin kickstand puck. That would be ridiculous.

My current project had a modification to the kickstand when I bought it.

PO welded a big washer to kickstand and did a decent job of blending it:

That's what I'm talking about. Someone on here mentioned that theirs felt loose and lost screws. Have you used this particular one?

No, I don't use a pad on the kickstand. Not really blistering hot here in the Ventura County Coast. If it's really hot, I'll park on a concrete surface. I just tossed in that photo for the discussion.
