Like I said earlier in this thread. I think it would be great to hook all of us here on the VMF at a certain point. Maybe at breakfast at a choke and puke and then we can get to know each other and head over to the drags...???:thumbs up:

Time and place so I can get my group there. Will be great to have a bunch of Max's in a parking lot at some place:surprise:

Guys,

Maybe I have been away from the US for too long. What is Choke and Puke? It does sound delightful and I cannot wait to try when I am back in Alabama next month.

I truly wish that I could make it to the drags! I will have to make due with the 100's of kilometers of twisties that are right outside my door.

Lee, "choke and puke" refers to the lovely roadside eating establishments, like Waffle House, etc. I wouldn't consider a McDonalds/ Burger King (aka fast food) to be a choke and puke. I think most of the "choke and puke" joints actually serve good food and the guys here are using it in a playful manner.
Although there was that one place in South Dakota that had me puking and other things after eating something evil at a choke and puke.:hmmm:

OK. I know Awful House. I had just never heard the reference "Choke and Puke". I thought that it was a particular establishment.

Ill know closer to the event but i am laying down the ground work to go to this event. Should be quite a show. Specially all the guys on this list that are goin, that alone is worth the trip. not sure how itll all work out as far as geting there, i may need to partner up with any of u in my area that has an open spot. Im North Central Missouri in Chillicothe. Its a fair ways off time wise so by then i may have affairs arranged.
Seriously doubt there will be trouble so dont let that detur u from goin.
Id say a secondary plan is definetly a good idea in case of a cancel, and yes Missouri is a good place ... :biglaugh: not just saying that cause its close to me either.... well ok i am.

Re: UFO Drag day

Yep...and so do I. Sean has gotten into the 10's....and Jon has never got into the 9's...or even low 10's with a Vmax. So, if he only wins by .5 seconds than I say it's stupid to pay $2000 for his carbs and $1000 for his pipes. Maybe Jon will use one of his Max Daddy wheels...which are heavier than stock. Then he would only win by .4 seconds.

Sean, who was that dude who had flatslides but got the same horsepower as my bike? Did he find a buyer for those carbs?

lol

It was me and no I haven't sold the VGAS yet.

My flatslides only increased my hp about 4 hp.Mileage was 36 stage 7 and 15 flats.I just got mine off and the stock manifolds back on.

Part of my problem could be overcarburation.I have 41mm keihins with 39mm manifolds.Price of gas?I am trying something different.Might even get more than those 4 hp I am losing.

I followed the link to the track site. If you look on their 2008 schedule we are not on it at any time this summer let alone July 20th. It might behoove us to contact the track and confirm that Cornell has even reserved it. Would hate to see folks travel loooooong distances just to find out he was lying about the track:bang head:

Re: UFO Drag day

Hmmm now I am offended :hmmm: if 6'6 is a sasqautch what does that make me at 6'7 :ummm:

Depends on your weight... if you are skinny as a rail, I may call you something much more offensive than if you weigh 250+ and stand 6'7

Needle ****?

Tall drink of water?

Needle **** :surprise:
I guess this could very easily turn into an internet argument, but you know what they say:icon_rolleyes:
An internet argument is like the Special Olympics.
Even if you win your still retarded.
