Not real original are you??? lol... You bet your azz I sleep next to my .40 Beretta, with 8 more within 10 feet including 2 AR-15s. I've done some traveling, and love coming home to the country in my country. My closest human neighbor is 700 feet away and the other 3 sides my neighbors are horses, llmas, and nanny goats. I like dogs better than most people because they are more loyal and won't lie to you. And as far as my *****, although I don't know why you're interested it's 'medium'... but it works quite well.... and speaking of your azz, I'll bet it's been 'cocked' more times than John Wayne's rifle....

You can keep your your European ******** right where it is now.... we don't want any part of it, and Trump was elected because he's blunt, doesn't take any crap

Oh, and I was a professional bodyguard for 22 years, (including for Mel Gibson for one week as his head of security when he was in Maine promoting his movie 'The Man Without a Face'), have been shot once and stabbed 3 times so I have a little first hand experience about 'getting it on'.... as opposed to you weenie socialist Liberals who can't fight unless your ****** Suit has been ironed....

If Europeans had kept their guns you wouldn't have the massive problems with Middle East refugees that you have, you know, like taking over complete towns and forcing people who have lived there for 8 generations to literally run for their lives. We won't have that problem here. We'll treat them the same exact way we did the British back in 1776. You don't like guns, fine... don't have one, but we do, we always will, and lastly, Trump will win 2020 by a landslide because even Democrats are seeing through the 'Brown Ring Circus' the Dumbocrats are pulling, and we just laugh and laugh and laugh....

You know, Lars, in person you're probably a decent guy, but where you went off the rails was telling US how to live OUR Lives.. We don't want your suggestions because God Forbid, we might somehow end up like you.

And maybe take some English classes in your spare time. Your grammar is about akin to a second graders IF that...

So they won't feel so stupid for giving up their own arms.

But what business is it of theirs what we do in our country? Why they gotta go sticking their nose where it don't belong?? I was raised, if someone stuck their nose where it don't belong it gets broke.

Are there amateur bodyguards? Doesn’t sound like a lucrative market.

Yeah, actually there are or at least were. They didn't stick around real long. I retired from that about 15 years ago. I had a good run doing it but it was time to find something else so I did. Lot of good and not so good memories from that time period. It is not an easy job, mentally and emotionally as well as physically.

Liberals in this country, and way too many people in Europe have a strong tendency to do exactly that. Liberals actually believe they are smarter than everyone else and thusly THEY should be in charge of everything. They are nothing more than egotistical elitists generally looking down on the 'common man'. They won't listen and never willing to compromise and THAT is why we have such a divide in our nation today. Short version: Liberals want BIG Govt. and have Govt. run everything about our lives. Conservatives want small Govt. and want to be left alone to live their lives as they see fit. My friend George has a saying; "Your rights end where my nose begins".... I personally wouldn't have a problem with Libs if they would just STFU and keep their noses out of our azzes. Take guns. You don't like them, fine... don't have one. Simple enough. But don't EVEN think you have the right to tell me I can't have one. Liberals for the most part have lost the concept of basic common sense. And therein lies the problem. And I completely agree about "What happens when you stick your nose where it don't belong."

Absolutely!!!

Another problem with the progressives (democrat-socialists) is that they NEED to include everyone else in their ill-fated experiments in insanity. They need the collective population to "get on board" with them to fund their grand ideas. Ideas detached from common sense, knowledge of human nature, and documented history. And funded with more than money, as we end up paying more than just monetarily. So, they must use forced compliance. They will not hesitate to commission their police state enforcers (who they bought and paid for with tax dollars from unwilling subjects) to implement the very weapons that they want to confiscate from us to enforce that compliance. Contrarily, the quintessential American wants a government that has limited power and stays the hell out of the way.

Pretty much, the US government is supposed to look like what you would expect from paid security or a bouncer in a bar. You want them there so that if anyone decides that they want their fist to occupy the same space as someone else's nose, the bouncer can use force to remove the problem fist. But it's not up to the bouncer to run the place like he sees fit, it's up to the bar owner. The bar owner will enumerate the bouncer's duties and the way in which those duties may be carried out. "We the People" here in the US are the bar owners and our government is the bouncer. The first problem with our bouncer is that he is human. The second problem is that we, the bar owners, have been paying too much money to him and not paying enough attention to what the bouncer has been doing. The bouncer has been putting HIS fist in the same space as some of the GOOD patron's noses for sport and for "shake-downs". He has been grabbing the waitress's ***, going behind the bar, pouring himself drinks, and putting his hand in the till. He has been aided by some of the other bouncers and a few bartenders, and together they have formed a cabal. This behavior has went on for some time with impunity. Now, a few of the bar owners have called the bouncers on the carpet about this behavior and warned that it won't be tolerated. The bouncers, stoned on the liquor that the bar owners have paid for and drunk on the power of own their size as well as the power of their cabal, have decided that their not going to answer to the bar owners anymore. In fact, the bouncers have assumed the position of the owners and now the bouncers are running the place. Now, since the owners can't call Patrick Swayze in to help out, the rightful ownership of the bar will have to be defended somehow. Hmmm, if only their was a way to empower the rightful owners. Wait, there is and it uses gun powder. It is a useful tool that can be used with precision and minimize collateral damage in a crowded bar as opposed to baseball bats and broken bottles. In fact, often just the sight of it will induce peace and quell the threat. As it turns out, the bar owners, upon founding their establishment had heard of this problem of a coup before. And some of the founding members had fled from other establishments where they were mere employees suffering under those same circumstances. So, they decided to form a covenant that would safeguard against this. This covenant included and clearly stated that "the owners" had the "right" to use these "gun powder powered tools" to defend the bar and their covenant if necessary. So, there's a happy ending to this story. The bar owners took back the bar, cleaned it back up, earned back the trust of the patrons, and "Made the Bar Great Again". Now even though some of the bar owners were too spineless and didn't possess the intestinal fortitude to take back the bar, they too now enjoy the peace and profits of the recouped establishment. All thanks to the resolution of the defenders and their covenant. So any spineless *** people who don't appreciate OUR right to defend OUR bar and OUR covenant, just mind your own bar. Or pub, watering hole, etc.

These two posts above capture a small sample of the myriad of issues with the far left (IMHO) with pretty startling accuracy. Very well said gents, very well said. It might be filled with too much fairness and common sense for the far left to absorb though.

Why does every country across the pond want the U.S. to dis arm it's citizens??

For the same reasons as above, much our THIS country would disarm us too, but they can not do it for reasons of an obvious nature. Those ignorant twats that would pass such gun laws can simply not compel those who would actually have to go door to door getting hurt/killed trying to collect them. I know it's conspiracy theory territory but that would almost certainly trigger a widespread armed rebellion.

Unlike many across the pond, we are not at the complete mercy of our government. We will protect our constitutionally guaranteed rights, yes, with gunpowder in the unfortunate event that becomes necessary. I hope it never comes to that, and I don't really believe that it will. I absolutely hate the idea of any Americans using lethal force against any other Americans outside of defending self/family/property, but thats what it would be.

On the upside for we that live in the well-armed states like SoDak, we never see any of those ANTIFA ******* that are a nuisance in the blue states haha. We get the pro-lifers in small doses now and again but nobody really takes them seriously anymore.

EXACTLY... well stated, Sir...

Common sense is a concept that has long been abandoned by the Left. For 18 months I civilly tried to talk with them and all I got was called names, insulted, blah blah blah... I finally had enough of their collective anal ******** and just said, "Stay out of my life and we won't have a problem. Don't and you will have a MAJOR problem you will NOT be able to cope with. Since then, this thread is the closest I've come to getting back into a political debate. However as the next election draws near, I'm sure I'll be getting back into it full on.... We could shove all the Liberals into the Grand Canyon or Pacific Ocean and it wouldn't bother be one bit. My biggest question is why hasn't the CDC declared Liberalism a certified brain disorder.... there can be NO other explanation.

Even ANTIFA knows better than to bring a ****** Suit to a gun fight...lol

By that logic, it should be the same with the second amendment.
How is not? You have a right to have a firearm. You're not required to have a firearm. That's actually different than requiring an ID to vote. That's the distinction. Today people are required to register to vote. Same as you have to register a firearm. As far as a "cover charge" for a firearm. That probably depends on the state. There's never been "cover charge" for them in any of the states I've lived in. But I admit Im not familiar with all states gun laws.
